What better time than, er, Easter, to write about a funny Jewish search engine a Sync reader forwarded to me. OK, odd timing aside, I thought you might have a laugh over this one.
What better time than, er, Easter, to write about a funny Jewish search engine a Sync reader forwarded to me. OK, odd timing aside, I thought you might have a laugh over this one.
Called Jewgle, it resembles — yep, you guess it — and instead of "I’m feeling lucky" as you’ll see under the Google search window, Jewgle says "I’m feeling holy"!
But if you type in something and click "Jewgle Search" you’ll get funny responses and links.
For example, I typed my name in and here’s what it displayed…click the cropped screenshot below to read the text.
The links themselves take you to a kosher brewery (who knew?), a deli restaurant website, JDate and more. Very funny!
That is a funny site …parody away and lets have more of the same..
We all need to have some humor in our lives…
It's nice to know that Jewish guilt is alive and well on the Internet.
I'm a little confused, however, at the service's focus on pushing me toward Jdate and other matchmaking services. I thought it already knew I was married!
