How to load photos onto a digital frame
At first glance a “digital photo frame” resembles a regular frame you can hang on your wall or place on a table, but instead of only displaying one paper photo, a digital frame can cycle through hundreds of your photos like a slideshow every few seconds, minutes, hours or days.

As a result, these products are a great way to enjoy (and share) your memories that might otherwise be left unnoticed on your computer’s hard drive.
Getting your digital photo onto the frame is as easy as inserting a memory card or USB thumb-stick or by attaching the frame to your computer’s USB port to copy photos onto the frame’s internal memory.
In some cases, digital photo frames offer "Wi-Fi" connectivity, therefore these higher-end models can wirelessly access photos on your computer in another room — so long as you have a wireless network.
Many new digital frames can also display video clips recorded on your camera or play music files (such as MP3s) through built-in speakers.
Digital photo frames, which start at $79, come in a variety of sizes and features. All of them require power, so be sure to place them near an electrical outlet.

I got on your site to find out how to load pictures from my PC to a "Digital Picture Frame". I understand all what you say but I still don't know what I must do once I get hooked up to the PC. The screen on the DPF says connected to PC. I am running windows Vista home premium and using windows photo gallery for picture storage. Ideas?
Her's a bit of self-promotion buit it directly relates to these posts… Raging Fjord makes a program for Mac users to make it easy to create a set of photos to load onto your digital frame. It's called "ImageDealer" (http://www.ragingfjord.com/imagedealer). It will pull a random sampling from any folders or albums you choose, then make a set either on a folder on your computer or directly on your SD card. Then each digital picture frame has different instructions for how to load those pics iontop the frame — in many cases you connect a USB cable and copy it over, or you plug in the SD card.
