Free your MP3s with JukeFly

I stumbled this interesting service the other day and I’m wondering if any Sync readers have tried this out yet. JukeFly is a free music streaming service that lets you listen to your digital music collection on any Internet-connected computer.

JukeflyI stumbled this interesting service the other day and I’m wondering if any Sync readers have tried this out yet. JukeFly is a free music streaming service that lets you listen to your digital music collection on any Internet-connected computer.

It works as follows:

Windows users first download a small (1.5MB) client, you indicate where your music collection is on your hard drive (e.g. My Music) and it turns your PC into a streaming music server.

So long as you leave your computer on and connected to the Internet, you can go to a friend’s house, the office or to a Paris café with a laptop, and you’ll be able to listen to all your songs at no cost.

JukeFly supports MP3s, unlocked AAC files (therefore purchased iTunes tracks won’t work) and Ogg Vorbis.

Let me know how JukeFly works but the concept is music to our ears.
