I remember one day I was heading to my local future shop to pre-order this until I found out that the release date was pushed back. I was p*ssed off but I still understood where it was coming from. Then the delay just made me think why should I pay for a game which doesnt really care for the people who followed the game. I just dont care about this game anymore and I truely believe that hardly anybody else does either

Ya, I'd have to agree with that assessment. The real funny thing is that the newsletter for the website sent one message (a couple days ago, saying its going to be pushed back till sept.) in those three years of waiting. BAH

First, there was the constant pushing back of the release dates.

Second, there was the switch from what we all thought was a multi-player online game to a single player format, with the only remaining multi-player aspect being the ability to integrate other people's structure/creature designs into your own.

Third, a final push back date until September 7th, 2008, when we were all told it would be coming out in the new fiscal year, and it was listed by many as May 2008.

My friends and I all thought that this would be come kind of amazing combination of Sims creativity, Civilization scope and WoW combat. A new Star Wars Galaxies, but without all the silly jedi. Now it's just Sims in Space...it's even worse, it's Sims in Space three years late.

Colour me alot less excited than I was when I first heard about this game.
