‘Call of Duty 4′ cleans up at awards show

Activision’s Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, 2K Games’ BioShock and Valve Software’s The Orange Box each picked up four statues at Thursday’s Interactive Achievement Awards.

Yours truly attended the event at the Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas, which took place during the sold-out D.I.C.E. (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) Summit, an annual conference that brings together the top video game designers and developers from around the world and business leaders from all the major publishers.

Developed by Infinity Ward, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare took home many of the top honors including Overall Game of the Year, Console Game of the Year, Action Game of the Year and Outstanding Achievement in Online Game Play.
