Bell Mobility last week launched the Samsung r610, a new mobile phone offering a host of cool features, including a custom interface – so you can personalize your home screen with applications that suit your specific needs – including customizable “bubbles” that deliver relevant data to the handset, such as weather and news headline updates.

The Samsung r610 also includes a pre-installed phonebook backup manager ($3/month) that wirelessly syncs with a web site to store a copy of your phone’s address book for your convenience.

Love music, movies and TV? This sleek slider phone also boasts a range of multimedia and mobile data features, including access to the largest collection of mobile music in Canada, mobile movies and TV and Sirius Satellite Radio streaming.

Available for $99.95 on a three-year term, the Samsung r610 also includes a 1.3 megapixel camera and flash, camcorder, stereo Bluetooth capability (for use with compatible wireless headphones), expandable memory, speakerphone, picture and video messaging, and Internet access to popular sites, such as popular email services, Facebook and YouTube.
