OLED displays would be perfect for laptops. Hope that's the next step.

These are exciting times. Of course they're small and expensive, all new electronics are. I can't wait to see what the new OLED brings. I love tv and movies, so all I can say is, 'Hurry up!' for larger, more affordable units.

Are qe seriously getting excited about an 11" TV?
First of all, I wouldn't give up my 14" TV because who wants a 14" TV either. It is all about the size of the screen and the quality of the image. Assuming that this technology is superior to that of Plasma in terms of picture quality, it is still way to small to notice. When you manufacture an affordable 50" OLED TV, then let me know, but we both know that that is at least 5 years away. So I guess I will just use my 42" Plasma and be very happy with the picture quality.

It will be interesting if this filters down to the general public price range as I was never to convinced with LCD and the Plasma's heat output always worried me.
