Get a phone call from Paris Hilton

In a high-tech publicity stunt to promote her upcoming movie, The Hottie and the Nottie, Paris Hilton is sending fans personal phone calls to help spread the word.

Approved_paris_hiltonIn a high-tech publicity stunt to promote her upcoming movie, The Hottie and the Nottie, Paris Hilton is sending fans personal phone calls to help spread the word.

Fans of the celebrity heiress can go to the movie’s website, type in their 10-digit phone number (home or cell) and within a few minutes receive a pre-recorded voice mail message about the film from Paris herself.

Note: while this site also works for Canadians, along with your phone number you must also type in any zip code, such as 90210 or 21212.

This social(ite) twist on traditional movie marketing is an interesting one, but we’ll see if it has any effect on the commercial success of The Hottie and the Nottie, which is scheduled to hit theatres on February 8.

Hi Paris, I'd love for you to come to Canada and visit me. If you read this you can email me and maybe you could enjoy a holiday with my wife and I. We think you are great and would love to be your holiday friend..

  • Dave says:

I hope this movie is better than her first movie, One night in paris

  • Pranil says:

    Paris,
Think you are great and very beautiful.

Would love you to come to Canada and meet you. You should come this way.

    Your fan

  • Sam says:

message to the poster "DUH"… perhaps before you point the finger how others appear totally "dum" … remember 3 fingers are pointing right back at you… the correct spelling of "dum" is "DUMB"

  • Slim says:

hahaha, its funny how all the kiddy haters come here like they are better then her but yet are talking smack in a comment post hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, the internet stupidity of people always amazes me.

  • linda,

Paris Hilton has been working and earning her own money since she was a teenager.

Congrats to Paris! I also can't wait to see Repo! where Paris will sing and act.

  • Joe says:

Good for Paris. She needs a break. Go for it girl!!!

  • Lee says:

although I'm neutral towards paris (no love nor hate), I think the promotional thought of personal messages is a terrific idea! I'm sure we can all agree this was not one that she thought up herself!

  • James From Calgary says:

I think that it is perhaps a little too close, and could promote stalkers…or allow them to go into deeper fantasies. Of course, who knows wat they are doing with the paris hilton chatty patty dolls anyways…lol.
    Whatever makes money…
Good luck on a patent move Paris. James

  • beardwonder says:

Hey Paris your a gooding looking lady you need to grow up and start acting you age before it's to late and you end up going down the wrong road.

  • Vegas visitor says:

I looked for Paris at LAX nightclub in Vegas, with no luck. I was hoping she`d hook me up with some drugs.

  • Gwen says:

As tempting as this offer is, I think I'll have to pass.

It's scary to see that she's close to 30 and still acting like a 16 year old whose only ambition in life is to like, party and like, stuff.

  • Mike Hunt says:

    This idea is …"HOT"

  • Kate says:

We don't need Paris Hilton in Canada. We're already suffering brain drain and believe me, we have enough naive people here already. Having Paris come here would be as useful as throwing an anchor to someone who is drowning. Also, I would love to have a job like hers where all I have to do is hike my skirt up, use the word 'like' a million times in a single sentance, smile, and wave at people to make a six or seven digit salary. It's speaks very badly for our society that so many people who have spent years educating themselves and training for the real world get paid less than someone whose only lessons were: a) don't make a sex video with a slime ball boyfriend and b) jail is not fun

  • Kate says:

Made and error in the last post. It is supposed to read "it speaks badly"

  • LINDZ. says:

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
    good luck paris…
    HAHAHA. wow.

  • NHJ says:

It never ceases to amaze me just how badly society seems to want to follow 'celebrities' in all they do, however sad their lives become. For a woman and I use the term very loosely, of her stature in regards to family and wealth to continue to behave like a 14 year old immature school girl is striking. There is so much good she could be doing with her well connected name but instead she chooses to do what many celebrities of this day and age do, do what's best for their ego's, bank accounts and be extremely selfish. It makes me wonder, have any of these people ever really been out of their self made cocoon long enough to realize that life does not revolve around their pathetic lives? Give your head a shake America and give your support and interest to people who want to make a difference in the world around them, not to people such as her with only an interest in padding their purses with your hard earned dollars. Enough said.

  • Irret says:

So is a pre-recorded message considered a phone call then? If I wanted to hear her voice I would just listen to t.v.
It's not really a phone call if it is pre-recorded now, is it?

  • laurie mellor says:

I just invited her to Canada and my home lol…i was recently on a home maker show we could compare notes on how to act behind the camera!

  • Shawn says:

Based on her acting talents in her last movie debut- One night in Paris- I think maybe the movie will be worth watching.
I wish my wife had as many talents as her :-)
