		<description>&lt;p&gt;Xerox talked about this years ago and how they were going to take the lead.  I guess they drop the ball again like with Alto, the 1st pc, eithernet, GUI, the mouse etc etc.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;But refinement is happening to the point that we&#039;re Almost There when sitting these things beside more conventional displays. Key is how fast they&#039;ll be able to productionalize the technology and drive the economies of scale to the point that we&#039;ll all be able to afford &#039;em.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;My call: five years to high-end introduction and seven until it&#039;s mainstream.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Newspaper editors should be watching this very closely, as it&#039;ll rewrite the rules of distribution pretty quickly.&lt;/p&gt;
