I never bought an iPod and I don't understand the big deal behind them. I bought a regular MP3 player and you know I can go back and forth between it and any computer.

You can use Anapod explorer to do the same thing & more.
I've never used iTunes with my iPod & refuse to do so.

I don't like it either, but I can understand Apple appeasing the record labels as this is a measure to help reduce piracy. If you could easily copy the 5,000+ songs on your iPod to a friend's computer, everyone would be doing it (let's face it!). If used responsibly, like making a backup of your music collection on both your desktop and laptop, I like software like iDump (in the past I've tried CopyPod).

Best,

Marc

So.. it's now Apple's job to police the internet. I'm sorry if I want to take my music collection with me to work and put it on my computer there.

I am glad that someone has found a work around for this; but personally I will never spend my money on an Apple product.
