So are people with common courtesy and TACT it seems! The fat has travelled away from their gut and straight into their brain, blocking that little section that has to do with tact. Laryn, skinny people might be tired of being harassed with claims of anorexia, but I'm sure all the overweight people are tired of the claims that they're slovenly pigs and wouldn't exercise if someone held a gun to their head. Which is not true, because I lead quite the active lifestyle, and instead of losing weight all together after cutting out fried foods, sweets, all of that jazz, I lost fat and gained muscle, leading to me being…the same weight, and according to the charts, making me "overweight."

Because Gary, not everyone who is overweight blames their medication, or their operations, or their thyroid gland, or their metabolism, which are all factors in weight gain and the inability to lose weight. A lot of us exercise regularly, eat healthy, proportioned sizes, and probably lead a healthier lifestyle than let's say…someone like you?

Oh and the camera? Yeah, I think it's a great marketing ploy. No matter how fat we are, how thin we are, or how pretty we are, we're going to want to look like someone else. HP is marketing our insecurities in ourselves.

I should mention that I have been trying to lose weight for quite some time. I wasn't even overweight, but the camera pictures looked bad. However, telling people to exercise isn't bad, as it's actually quite beneficial. I lost quite a few pounds without any extra cost due to an increase in my daily walking. The exercise makes me hungry and I do tend to eat more than I used to, but I have lost and keep losing weight.
On the other hand, one of my best friends is quite obese and has told me that she has a thyroid problem. however, she hardly makes any effort to move around. I have tried to encourage her to exercise several times with no success. She consumes an enormous amount of greasy fast-food. Her sister used to be quite large as well, but lost weight in her university years, due to all the walking she did.
While I agree that it is mean to put down someone else, a bit of exercise isn't a bad thing after all!

I am fat because I take more Calories into my Body than I expend.

Stop blaming your Thyroid Gland, your Medication, or your Operations.

It has to go in your mouth and down your throat to end up in your Stomach.

HP is full of BS, and just catering to an over indulgent world.

If you are Fat, you are Fat; get over it or do something about it.

People should just be happy with who they are, and realise that the media is just a load of marketing schemes. Yeah, it hurts when every commercial on television seems to press that you should look a certain way. Then again, you have to keep in mind that only like 5% of the world looks like that. And of course they're going to press what for most is an impossible ideal. It makes people desperate, and therefore increases the chances that they'll buy into the latest 'solution' to their 'problem'.

This time, it's a camera that can make you look like what they want you to. Yay! If you buy this, you're only supporting the skinny ideal that the media pushes by purchasing their product.
