The hit two-disc DVD for the Transformers movie has a little more than the movie and some extra features. If you know where to look, there’s a couple of secret Easter eggs planted on one of the discs, too.
meFor the uninitiated, DVD Easter eggs are hidden goodies buried on hundreds of today’s movies. They’re meant to reward the fan for finding these extras — which are not listed on the back of the box — with something fun such as a blooper reel, interview clip, funny music video or something of the sort.
Here’s how to unlock two of the eggs on the Transformers DVD:
1. Insert the second disc and from the main menu select Our World. Now move the cursor over to the words I Fight Giant Robots and press the Down button on your DVD remote and an icon of Bumblebee will appear on the screen. Press Enter to be treated to a funny commercial for the "Baybot" transformer that looks like director Michael Bay.
2. Go back to the main menu and select Their War. Now move the cursor to highlight the words Inside The AllSpark and press the Left button on the DVD remote and an icon of Frency’s face will appear. Press Enter to see Michael Bay’s cameo in the flick (and the prepping for it).
