Toronto-based fashion artist Debi Kisluk can turn your boring ‘ol cell phone (or iPod or PDA) into a dazzling, one-of-a-kind item, decorated with sparkling Austrian Swarovski crystals.
Prices vary on the phone and desired pattern, but Kisluk’s company, Eclectics ArtWare, can add some bling to your thing starting at $80 for iPods and cell phones (including covers) for front coverage, all the way to $200 for full coverage of phones and PDAs. Prices may be higher for special requests.
"Every girl likes something pretty and sparkly, and ‘blinging’ your tech is a fun, personal way to express yourself" says Kisluk. "It’s art for your phone, iPod or earpiece…add a little sparkle to your life!"
If you like the concept but are short on cash, Kisluk also sells Glitz2Go do-it-yourself kits that start at $25, which includes 100 crystals of your colour choice, along with adhesive material, application sticks and instructions — all in a little reusable velvet pouch, which can be used to protect your finished masterpiece.
