The popular Google Image Search — you know, the search engine that lets you find photos on the Net instead of websites? – has been cooking up something in its labs you can now test drive.
The search engine can now find pictures that have a face on it opposed to any other picture, of say, a flower, television, motorcycle, beach or house.
For example, if you type in “Sympatico MSN” in the Google Image Search you’d find a bunch of pictures, graphics and photos from the mega-popular Canadian website. Click here to see what you’d find.
But if you add this to the end of the URL in the address bar — &imgtype=face –- then you will find it will only show you people’s faces seen on Sympatico MSN (hey, including mine!). Click here for a look-see.
Unfortunately, there is no simple way to try this out just yet, like a “Google Faces Image Search” site or anything like that – but you can add the “&imgtype=face” extension to the end of the URL to see for yourself.
Allegedly, Google is using similar face detection software used by many digital cameras today.

I personally think that images on Google esp. faces should be right click AND control "C" enabled so people cannot claim things as thier own. They would actually have to do things and work on their own and actually have to learn as well

I personally think that you may want to look up the definitions of "enabled" and "disabled", then maybe read up on your grammar a little.

Add spelling to the list. ("thier"??)

LOL i thought this had to do something with facebook

You two have never made a grammar or spelling mistake? the fact that you single those things out to comment on says that maybe you should look up the definition of "polite" or maybe how to spell "kind". Commenting on how a person is saying something rather than what they are trying to say, especially in a negative manner is just plain ignorant. Grow up.

When people have the ability to edit and check what they say before it is said here on the internet, then they should make sure that they use proper spelling and grammer. Anyone who does not take a couple seconds to do this should have to face the ridicule of making themself look like a complete idiot.

Whoa. Clearly some people wake up (alone) on a Saturday morning just looking for an argument.
Too bad there isn't a way of checking whether somebody has a huge chip on their shoulder before allowing them to post.

LOL Innes
I so knew people posting pictures of me on FaceBook was a bad idea. The web can make things personal. This is an interesting addition to Google's engine.

Is there anything funnier than someone being critical of others and then making the same mistake themselves? Check out Jamie's post again and check out how he/she spelled 'grammar'.
Too funny.
Thanks for the laugh.
