Question: What stores more than 2000 songs, plays photos and is also a FM radio – for less than $60? The answer is the Philips GoGear Micro Jukebox.
FactoryDirect has this tiny media player on sale for $59.99 after the $30 mail-in rebate.
Considering a 1GB MP3 player is usually around this price, this is quite the steal – and from a brand name company to boot. We didn’t realize it was a refurbished model until we read the fine print, so the warranty is only limited to 90 days, but it’s still a great price.
The Philips GoGear Micro Jukebox plays MP3s and WMA music, with the ability to create or edit playlists while on the go. The official specs say this player can store 4000 songs on its 8GB hard drive, but for decent audio quality, conservatively it’s about 2200 songs (about 3.5MB for a 5-minute song).
This compact media player (3.4 x 2.1 x 0.7 inches, and only 3 ounces) also features a FM radio and a built-in voice recorder.
The 1.5-inch backlit LCD screen is ideal to view album artwork or more than 2000 of your own photos.
The intutive touch-sensitive keys are used to control your media, which includes a "super-scroll" option for fast music navigation.
